Noel Gyro, 7th Degree Black Belt ~ In addition to being a blessed proud wife and mother, Mrs. Gyro began nearly 28 years ago to fully commit herself to the study of Martial Arts with her husband, Johnny Gyro. It all began with a great interest in learning how to spar and kickbox from her husband and Mrs. Gyro definitely learned from the best. From there, it was a natural transition to study, train and become proficient in the Tang Soo Do style of Martial Arts from White Belt through to her current rank as a 7th Degree Black Belt. Every class, test and each student Noel worked with through the years has shaped her and made her journey such a worthwhile and memorable one. Being involved in Martial Arts has been such a positive experience on so many levels for her. Mrs. Gyro truly believes it has been a life changing endeavor to learn every aspect of the countless benefits that Martial Arts has to offer in addition to the opportunity to tap into and learn from Johnny Gyro's extensive and unmatched karate experience.
Particularly fond of teaching in Johnny Gyro Karate's popular Children's Program, Mrs. Gyro really enjoys the enthusiasm, interaction and positive experiences that she gains from being on the mat everyday with kids of all ages and abilities. From the first day that Johnny Gyro Karate began in 1995, Noel and Johnny Gyro have always felt so fortunate to be able to train, teach and work together alongside each other on the mat doing something they sincerely love to do. It is a pleasure, honor and a privilege to have a career doing exactly what they feel they were meant to do while giving back to the community and local schools at the same time.
Noel Gyro is also the author of the top ten rated children's book series, "The Adventures of Marshall & Art", when nationally published by ABDO Publishing Company and distributed worldwide in various countries and languages. Written and inspired by her own sons during their growing years, Noel's hope and intention with these educational books was to influence young readers everywhere "to do the right thing" and to make wise choices while overcoming peer pressure when temptations and crossroads arise for kids. It was a dream fulfilled for Noel to have all eight editions of her books and labors of love make their way to children all around the world.
Noel is also an avid and devoted fitness buff and she has been for three decades. While maintaining her own rigorous daily workout regimen, Noel loves to cross train women in an energizing, fat burning and muscle toning cardio kickboxing program designed specifically for women's cardio health and needs to not only tone, tighten, and firm, but to inspire a healthy lifestyle. Beginners through advanced cardio students that are looking to jump start their routine will find Noel's enthusiasm a valuable boost to a metabolism to burn calories and fat. Mrs. Gyro sees a definite link between the mental, physical and spiritual benefits of Martial Arts particularly when combined with an exhilarating workout routine that leads to a healthier existence and a more fulfilling lifestyle.
